VIANOTE Hub was born from a real travel frustration. As someone who travels frequently, I got tired of the last-minute scramble to figure out whether my devices would work in a new country — googling voltage specs, plug shapes, and adapter types every single time.

So I built this tool myself. What started as a personal utility has grown into a comprehensive travel plug guide covering over 200 countries worldwide.

Accuracy is essential when dealing with electrical safety and device compatibility. All voltage, frequency, and plug type classifications on VIANOTE Hub are compiled and cross-referenced from authoritative international bodies:

  • IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission): World Plugs technical specifications and standardized socket classifications (Types A through N).
  • U.S. Department of Commerce (ITA): Electric Current Abroad global power standards.
  • National Energy Regulators: Official grid frequency and supply voltage data published by local power utilities.
